70s Music Era
The 70s era brought on a whole new turning point for music. It took on the changing point of the flowering and peace theme of the 60s and interchanged into a type of music not geared towards the rock and roll era of Elvis, but to a music type of pop style.
This era rolled music into a time where new dances were born and new fashion fad were introduced. A whole new way of having fun exploded. Disco balls and lava lamps became popular and the rhythm of the music set the stage for the new transition into the next decade of artists.
Music by artists such as Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, and David Bowie set the stage for the pop style music to be born. Rock and Roll and any heavy rock was not really what this era had to bring to the table. This era took music types, like soft rock and country music, and intertwined them to introduce a whole new type of music.
The 70s era was a major turning point in music history that many of us will never forget. It started out by introducing new fashion trends and a new sound in music to changing the way we dance and disco was born to give us a new way of having fun.
